🦷 Dr. Henry Sung

Founder & Lead Dentist | 16+ Years of Experience

Dr. Henry Sung is the heart behind Frederick Prime Dental, where clinical excellence meets spa-like comfort. Originally from South Korea 🇰🇷, he moved to the U.S. at age 15 and earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Irvine, followed by a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the New York University College of Dentistry..

With over 16 years of clinical experience, Dr. Sung has practiced in NY, CT, VA, MD, and South Korea, with a focus on implant surgery, soft/hard tissue augmentation, and the management of implant complications. He remains a passionate scholar, continually attending seminars and trainings around the world to stay at the forefront of dental innovation.

Outside the office, Dr. Sung is a devoted husband to Chloe Lee, a veterinarian 🐾, and a proud father to Sophia (7) and Hailey (3). Their home is filled with love—and five cats 🐱🐱🐱🐱🐱. When he’s not crafting smiles, you’ll find him on the golf course ⛳, always up for a challenge and a breath of fresh air.

 

 

🦷Dr. Christine Kim

General Dentist – Caring for Smiles with Heart

Dr. Kim is honored to serve the Frederick community with gentle, comprehensive dental care . She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Temple University in 2018 and has been dedicated ever since to helping patients of all ages feel confident and comfortable in the dental chair.

Her philosophy is simple: build lasting relationships, treat every patient with compassion, and make sure they feel informed and empowered about their oral health . Whether you’re coming in for a routine checkup or a more complex procedure, Dr. Kim brings both skill and kindness to every visit.

Before joining Frederick Prime Dental, Dr. Kim served in Federally Qualified Health Centers for several years as part of the NHSC Scholarship program—a reflection of her deep commitment to community service and equitable care .

She’s also a lifelong learner , regularly attending advanced continuing education courses to stay ahead of the curve and bring the latest techniques and technologies to her patients.

Outside the office, Dr. Kim loves exploring Frederick’s local restaurants with her husband — always on the hunt for hidden gems and new flavors.

 

🦷 Dr. Michael Cho

General Dentist | FAGD Designation Dr. Michael Cho brings a wealth of knowledge and a calming presence to our team at Frederick Prime Dental 💙. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Johns Hopkins University and his DDS from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He completed a General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York 🏙️, gaining advanced training in endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.

Dr. Cho is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) — a prestigious honor held by only 6% of general dentists in North America. This designation reflects his dedication to continuing education and his commitment to excellence in patient care 📚.

He’s passionate about creating stress-free, respectful dental experiences and believes in empowering patients through knowledge and comfort 🤝.

Outside the office, Dr. Cho enjoys tennis 🎾, golf ⛳, travel ✈️, and movies 🎬 — hobbies that reflect his appreciation for balance, exploration, and storytelling.

 

 

 

 

 

🦷Dr. Han Ick Park, B.A., D.D.S. 🦷

 

General Dentist / Oral Surgery Certified from South Korea

Dr. Han Ick Park brings a unique blend of advanced surgical expertise and compassionate, family-focused care to Frederick Prime Dental 💙. His journey in dentistry began with service — working as a dental hygienist during his two years of military duty in the Korean Army 🇰🇷 — where he developed a deep respect for precision, discipline, and patient comfort.

After earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from Howard University College of Dentistry 🎓 in 2013, Dr. Park completed a General Practice Residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia 🏙️, gaining extensive experience in comprehensive patient care. He practiced as a general dentist for five years before pursuing advanced training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the prestigious Asan Medical Center in Seoul.

Now serving the Frederick community 🌿, Dr. Park provides a full spectrum of dental care — from routine checkups and restorative treatments to complex surgical procedures — with meticulous attention to detail and a gentle, reassuring approach. Patients appreciate his ability to explain procedures clearly, his calm chairside manner, and his commitment to making every visit as comfortable as possible.

Outside the office, Dr. Park enjoys exploring new cuisines 🍣, staying active 🏃, and spending time with family and friends 🏞️. He’s also passionate about music 🎶 — producing tracks and DJing in his free time — a creative outlet that reflects his love for rhythm, artistry, and connection.
